The closing price of the MTBE market in the United States decreased by $2.72/ton compared to the previous trading day, and the FOB Gulf offshore price closed at $633.63-633.98/ton (178.91-179.01 cents/gallon).
This downward adjustment indicates a more relaxed global supply and demand pattern, which may be due to increased refinery supply or weak downstream demand, posing significant negative pressure on spot prices.
