On December 11th, the commodity price index BPI was 888 points, up 2 points from yesterday, down 33.88% from the highest point of the cycle at 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and up 34.55% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on December 11, 2025, there were a total of 62 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (31 in total) and the non-ferrous sector (8 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were sulfonyl chloride (4.90%), tetrachloroethylene (4.69%), and sodium iodide (4.46%). There are a total of 48 products that have experienced a month on month decline, mainly concentrated in the chemical industry (18 in total) and rubber and plastic (7 in total). Products with a decline of more than 5% are mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector; The top three products with a decline were n-propanol (-11.94%), dimethyl carbonate (-3.41%), and glucose (-2.53%).
