SunSirs: Eleventh Reduction in Retail Prices of China Refined Oil Products

The domestic refined oil price adjustment window opened at 24:00 on December 8th, and the retail price of refined oil has been lowered again. The retail price of refined oil in 2025 has experienced seven upward adjustments, ten downward adjustments, and six stranded adjustments. During this cycle, the crude oil market first fell and then rose, and the negative value of crude oil change rate has narrowed. The retail price adjustment of refined oil in 2025 has encountered the "eleventh" downward adjustment.
The price adjustment window for this round of refined oil has opened, and the decrease in retail prices has directly led to a downward pressure on gasoline spot prices. The crude oil market first fell and then rose, with a reduced negative rate of change but still unable to avoid a downward trend, reflecting weak demand and sufficient supply, which has a strong negative impact on the spot market.
The retail price of diesel will decrease significantly with this price adjustment, and the spot price will also decrease significantly. Although the fluctuation of crude oil has eased some downward pressure, the final downward adjustment indicates an imbalance between market supply and demand, insufficient demand or high inventory, which is unfavorable for the spot market.
