Macroeconomics

1. [US ADP Employment Change] US ADP employment fell by 32,000 in November, the lowest level since March 2023, compared to a forecast of an increase of 5,000 and a previous increase of 42,000.

2. [Eurozone PMI] The final Eurozone Composite PMI for November was revised upward to 52.8, a 30-month high. The Services PMI rose to 53.6, the highest level since May 2023, with new business growth at its fastest pace in 18 months.

Rubber and Plastics

1. [PA6] On December 2, 2025, the Executive Committee of the Brazilian Foreign Trade Committee issued Resolution No. 820 of 2025, deciding to cancel the provisional anti-dumping duties on nylon filament originating from or imported from Yiwu Huading Nylon Co., Ltd., a Chinese producer/exporter, due to reasons of domestic public interest. The resolution took effect from the date of issuance.

2. [PE] On December 3, the status of Sinochem Quanzhou PE plant: the 400,000-ton/year HDPE plant began a major overhaul on November 28, planned for 50 days; the 400,000-ton/year LDPE/EVA plant is also shut down.

3. [EPS] On December 3, Heze Yuhuang EPS ordinary material was quoted at RMB 7,300/ton (cash, including tax) ex-factory, and flame-retardant EPS was quoted at RMB 7,500/ton (cash, including tax), an increase of RMB 100/ton. Actual order price is negotiable.

4. [Butadiene Rubber] On December 3rd, the butadiene rubber market in East China saw consolidation, with some traders slightly raising their offers by 50 RMB/ton. Currently, mainstream butadiene rubber prices from Daqing, Yangzi, and Qilu are quoted at 10,700-10,950 RMB/ton; some private brands are quoted around 10,600-10,750 RMB/ton.

5. [Natural Rubber] On December 3rd, the price of natural rubber raw materials in Thailand declined: smoked sheets were quoted at 60.50 baht/kg, down 0.50 baht/kg; latex was quoted at 55.50 baht/kg, stable; cup lump was quoted at 52.75 baht/kg, down 0.25 baht/kg.
