SunSirs: China’s Urban Steel Inventory Drops 1.42 Million Tons MoM

Xinhua Finance, Beijing, December 1 (Xinhua Finance) -- According to the latest data from Steel Silver E-commerce, as of December 1st, the total inventory of steel in 38 cities and 135 warehouses across the country was 8.7276 million tons, a decrease of 142,000 tons (-1.60%) compared to the previous week.
Among them, the total inventory of construction steel was 43.645 million tons, a decrease of 1.929 million tons (-4.23%) week-on-week, including 30 cities and a total of 79 warehouses. The total inventory of hot coil was 2.3198 million tons, an increase of 23,100 tons (+1.01%) week-on-week, including 15 cities and a total of 47 warehouses. The total inventory of medium and thick plates was 7.72 million tons, an increase of 14,500 tons (+1.91%) week-on-week, including 9 cities and a total of 14 warehouses. The total inventory of cold-rolled coated steel was 1.2713 million tons, an increase of 13,300 tons (+1.06%) week-on-week, including 5 cities and a total of 14 warehouses.
