December 03 2025 09:14:17     SunSirs (Selena)

ANRPC's latest October 2025 report forecasts that global natural rubber production will increase by 2.7% to 1.496 million tons in October, a 1.7% increase from the previous month; natural rubber consumption is expected to fall by 4.2% to 1.26 million tons, a 1.2% decrease from the previous month. For the first ten months of the year, cumulative global natural rubber production is expected to increase by 2.6% to 11.9 million tons, while cumulative consumption is expected to fall by 1.8% to 12.684 million tons.

Global natural rubber production in 2025 is projected to increase by 1.3% year-on-year to 14.892 million tons. Specifically, Thailand is expected to increase by 1.2%, Indonesia by 4.3%, China by 6%, India by 5.6%, Vietnam by 1.3%, Malaysia by 4.2%, Cambodia by 5.6%, Myanmar by 5.3%, and other countries by 3.5%.

Global natural rubber consumption is projected to increase by 0.8% year-on-year to 15.565 million tons in 2025. Specifically, China is expected to see a 2.5% increase, India a 3.4% increase, Thailand a 6.1% increase, Indonesia a 19.3% decrease, Malaysia a 2.6% increase, Vietnam a 1.5% increase, Sri Lanka a 6.7% increase, Cambodia a significant 110.3% increase, and other countries a 3.5% decrease.

The report notes that natural rubber prices trended downward in October. This downward pressure can be attributed to increased production and exports, which surged earlier this year due to weak demand.
