SunSirs: API: U.S. Crude Oil and Refined Product Inventories Increased Last Week

On Tuesday, December 2nd, data released by the American Petroleum Institute (API) showed that U.S. crude oil and refined product inventories increased last week.
API data showed that for the week ending November 28th, U.S. crude oil inventories increased by 2.48 million barrels. Gasoline inventories increased by 3.136 million barrels, and distillate fuel inventories increased by 2.884 million barrels.
Analysts surveyed had previously expected a decrease of approximately 800,000 barrels in U.S. crude oil inventories, an increase of approximately 1.5 million barrels in gasoline inventories, and an increase of approximately 700,000 barrels in distillate fuel inventories last week.
