SunSirs: China's Thermal Coal Imports Drop 11.2% Month-on-Month in October; Coking Coal Down 3.0%

According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, China imported 31.1439 million tons of thermal coal (non-coking coal) in October 2025, marking a year-on-year decrease of 14.2% and a month-on-month decline of 11.2%.
From January to October 2025, China's cumulative thermal coal imports reached 293.716 million tons, down 12.64% year-on-year.
In October 2025, China imported 10.593 million tons of coking coal, up 6.4% month-on-month but down 3.0% month-on-month.
From January to October 2025, China's cumulative imports of coking coal reached 94.124 million tons, down 5.2% year-on-year.
