On November 19, the benchmark price of DBP from SunSirsy was 6,551.67 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.5% compared with the beginning of the month (6,651.67 RMB/ton).
On November 19th, the DBP market in Jiangsu stabilized, with prices quoted at 6,500 RMB/ton. The DBP market in Shandong also stabilized, with prices quoted at 6,350 RMB/ton, and the DBP market in Zhejiang stabilized, with prices quoted at 6,700 RMB/ton.
On November 19th, the price of n-butanol, a raw material for plasticizer DBP, weakened and fell, phthalic anhydride prices adjusted weakly, isooctyl alcohol prices rebounded and rose, DBP raw material costs consolidated strongly, PVC prices fluctuated and consolidated, downstream demand was weak, DBP plant equipment operating rates were low, DBP supply was sufficient, DBP factory inventory was low, downstream customer purchasing enthusiasm was generally low, and transaction prices were based on negotiation. DBP prices were 6,350-6,700 RMB/ton. DBP prices consolidated strongly, and downward pressure on DBP prices remained while upward momentum increased. The DBP market consolidated strongly.
