According to data released by the Indonesian Bureau of Statistics, from January to September 2025, the export volume of Indonesian palm oil (including crude palm oil and refined palm oil) was 17.58 million tons, an increase of 11.62% compared to the same period last year.
The export volume of palm oil in September was 1.38 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 6.9%.
The export volume of Indonesian palm oil increased by 11.62% year-on-year, reaching 17.58 million tons, indicating a significant increase in global market supply. In the absence of synchronous increase in demand, oversupply may accumulate inventory, putting downward pressure on palm oil spot prices, and it is expected that prices will face the risk of falling in the short term.
