October 31 2025 14:18:56     SunSirs (Selena)
The latest data shows that in the first three quarters of 2025, the cumulative export volume of rubber from Cote d'Ivoire reached 1.22 million tons, an increase of 14.8% compared to 1.06 million tons in the same period of 2024.
As a major natural rubber producer in the world, Cote d'Ivoire's rubber exports in the first three quarters of 2025 increased by 14.8% year-on-year to 1.22 million tons, indicating a significant increase in the supply side, which may lead to oversupply in the market and exert downward pressure on spot prices. Based on futures market data, the closing price of natural rubber main contract 2601 on October 30, 2025 was 15,400 RMB/ton, with a settlement price of 15,495 RMB/ton. The price slightly increased on the same day, but the increase was limited; The expectation of supply growth may strengthen the downward trend of future prices, forming a negative impact on futures prices, especially possibly suppressing the performance of far month contracts.
