SunSirs: India: Sugar Production Expected to Reach 34.9 Million Tons in the 2025/26 Crushing Season

According to the National Sugar Manufacturers' Federation of India, India's sugar production is expected to rebound significantly from the previous year's low in the upcoming 2025/26 crushing season, a development expected to impact global sugar supply. India's sugar production is projected to reach 34.9 million tons in the 2025/26 crushing season (starting October 1).
