In September 2025, China's methanol imports totaled 1.4269 million tons, marking an 18.92% month-on-month decline. The average import price stood at $271.26 per ton, down 2.20% from the previous month. Oman was the largest supplier, accounting for 411,900 tons at an average import price of $268.38 per ton. Cumulative methanol imports from January to September 2025 reached 9.6667 million tons, down 3.94% year-on-year.
In September 2025, China's methanol exports totaled 17,700 metric tons, down 11.06% month-on-month, with an average export price of $325.32 per metric ton, down 9.11% month-on-month. From January to September 2025, China's cumulative methanol exports reached 190,500 metric tons, up 119.72% year-on-year.
