SunSirs:China's Rare Earth Exports Hit Lowest Level Since February This Year in September

According to data released by the General Administration of Customs on October 13, China exported 4,000.3 tons of rare earths in September 2025.

This figure represents a 30.9% month-on-month decrease from August's 5,791.8 tons and a 4.3% year-on-year decline compared to the 4,180.9 tons exported during the same period last year. Additionally, China's cumulative rare earth exports for the first nine months of 2025 reached 48,355.7 tons, marking a 12.6% increase year-on-year.

As an integrated internet platform providing benchmark prices, on October 14, the benchmark price for praseodymium metal on SunSirs stood at 745,000.00 RMB per ton, down 2.61% from the beginning of the month (765,000.00 RMB per ton).

On October 14, the benchmark price for neodymium metal on SunSirs stood at 752,500.00 RMB per ton, down 5.05% from the beginning of the month (792,500.00 RMB per ton).

On October 14, the benchmark price for praseodymium-neodymium alloy on SunSirs was 660,000.00 RMB/ton, representing a decrease of 3.65% compared to the beginning of the month (685,000.00 RMB/ton).
