On October 11, 2025, the China Passenger Car Association announced that the retail sales of passenger cars in the national market reached 2.239 million units in September, a year-on-year increase of 6% and an increase of 11% compared to the previous month; Since the beginning of this year, the cumulative retail sales have reached 17.004 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 9%. Among them, in September, the retail sales of new energy vehicles in the national passenger car market reached 1.307 million units, a year-on-year increase of 16% and an increase of 17% compared to the previous month. The penetration rate of new energy vehicles in the national passenger car retail market was 58.5%; Since the beginning of this year, the cumulative retail sales have reached 8.878 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 24%.
