SunSirs: China's Praseodymium-Neodymium Metal Output Rises 14.68% Year-on-Year in August
October 11 2025 13:52:59     China produced 8,085.00 metric tons of praseodymium-neodymium metal in August, compared to 7,050.00 metric tons in the same period last year and 8,125.00 metric tons in the previous month. This represents a year-on-year increase of 14.68% and a month-on-month decrease of 0.49%.
From January to August 2025, China's total neodymium-praseodymium metal production reached 62,223.00 metric tons, compared to 50,641.00 metric tons during the same period last year, representing a year-on-year increase of 22.87%.
In August, the top three provinces for praseodymium-neodymium metal production in China were Inner Mongolia, Jiangxi, and Sichuan. Inner Mongolia produced 3,740.00 metric tons, a 4.91% increase year-on-year but a 1.06% decrease month-on-month. Jiangxi produced 1,175.00 metric tons, a 2.89% decrease year-on-year. Sichuan produced 890.00 metric tons of praseodymium-neodymium mixed metal, a year-on-year increase of 37.98% but a month-on-month decrease of 2.20%.
