SunSirs: Overview of Import and Export of China Plastics Products in August 2025

According to data from the General Administration of Customs, in August 2025, the export value of plastics and their products reached 11.73 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 1.7%; The import value was 4.46 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 15%. The total export value of plastics and their products from January to August was 94.76 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 1.6%; The total import value was 37.94 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 6.6%, with a trade surplus of 56.82 billion US dollars.
