SunSirs: China Customs Statistics on Titanium Dioxide Exports for the First Eight Months

According to customs statistics, from January to August 2025, China exported approximately 1.1901 million tons of titanium dioxide, representing a year-on-year decrease of 7.95% or about 102,800 tons. Chloride-process titanium dioxide exports totaled 336,700 tons, down 3.38% year-on-year, while sulfate-process titanium dioxide exports reached 963,400 tons, down 8.96% year-on-year.
Customs data indicates that China exported 138,700 metric tons of titanium dioxide in August 2025, representing a year-on-year decrease of 13.66% but a month-on-month increase of 2.91%. Of this volume, sulfuric acid-processed exports totaled 113,800 metric tons, up 3.14% month-on-month, while chlorination-processed exports reached 25,000 metric tons, rising 1.87% month-on-month.
