SunSirs: China's Imported Rubber Increased by 7.8% Year-on-year to 664,000 Tons in August 2025

According to data released by the General Administration of Customs of China on September 8th, China imported a total of 664,000 tons of natural and synthetic rubber (including latex) in August 2025, an increase of 7.8% compared to the same period in 2024, which was 616,000 tons.
From January to August, China imported a total of 5.373 million tons of natural and synthetic rubber (including latex), an increase of 19% compared to 4.514 million tons in the same period of 2024.
On September 9th, the benchmark price of natural rubber in SunSirs is 15,416.67 yuan/ton, an increase of 3.01% compared to the beginning of this month (14,966.67 yuan/ton).
