SunSirs: Canada's Rapeseed Exports Amounted to 79,000 Tons as of the Week Ending August 24

According to data released by Statistics Canada, the pace of Canadian rapeseed exports slowed down in the third week of 2025/2026. As of the week of August 24th, Canada's rapeseed exports amounted to 79,000 tons, compared to 91,000 tons last week. The export volume for the year 2025/2026 so far is 435,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 47.6%, and a decrease of 46.2% last week.
The grain and oilseed (including wheat, durum wheat, barley, and rapeseed) market in Canada starts on August 1st each year and ends on July 31st of the following year.
