From January to July, profits of industrial enterprises above designated size nationwide totaled 4,020.35 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.7%.
Of these, the profit figures for textile and apparel enterprises from January to July 2025 are as follows:
The textile industry's total profits were 36.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.5%.
The textile, garment, and apparel industry's total profits were 25.03 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 14.2%.
The leather, fur, feather, and related products, and footwear industries' total profits were 18.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 9%.
The chemical fiber manufacturing industry's total profits were 14.58 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.6%.
