As an integrated internet platform providing benchmark prices, on August 22, the benchmark price of bromine on SunSirs was 29,400 RMB/ton, a 6.52% increase from 27,600 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.
On August 22, the ex-factory price of bromine in North China was 28,500-31,000 RMB/ton. Domestic bromine production capacity utilization is insufficient, and social inventories are tight. Downstream companies are primarily driven by rigid demand, leading to a supply-demand dynamic. A period of market consolidation is expected in the latter part of the year.
