Domestic activated charcoal manufacturers' prices are stable this week. The ex-factory price of coconut shell activated charcoal for water purification in East China is between 9,000 and 13,000 RMB/ton. The current market is stable and lacks favorable support. High prices hinder downstream use, so it should focus on market transactions.
Coconut shell carbonization is one of the important raw materials for producing sodium battery hard carbon anode materials. The current situation of China's coconut shell carbonization market is characterized by a high dependence on imports. 95% of the domestic coconut shell carbonization materials are imported, with the Philippines and Indonesia as the main supply bases. Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and other countries also have some supply. The domestic production of coconuts and coconut shells accounts for a very small proportion of the global total.
