SunSirs: Sinopec Announces Last Week's Settlement Price for Caprolactam

Sinopec boasts the world's largest caprolactam production and R&D base with a single production capacity.
On August 18, 2025, Sinopec announced that the settlement price of caprolactam (PA6 raw material) last week was 9,290 RMB/ton (six-month acceptance, interest-free), down 285 RMB/ton from the previous period.
As an integrated internet platform providing benchmark prices ,on August 20, the SunSirs caprolactam benchmark price was 8,986.67 RMB/ton, a 0.92% decrease from 9,070 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.
On August 20, the SunSirs PA6 benchmark price was 10,300 RMB/ton, a 1.59% decrease from 10,466.67 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.
