SunSirs: Cambodia's Latex Exports Fell 15.4% Year-on-year in the First Seven Months of 2025.
August 14 2025 11:17:41     SunSirs (Selena)According to the latest report from the General Rubber Department of Cambodia, Cambodia's latex exports fell 15.4% year-on-year to 147,071 tons in the first seven months of 2025, compared to 173,915 tons in the same period last year.
Data shows that Cambodia earned $266 million from latex exports in the first seven months, a 1% decrease from the same period last year. The average export cost was $1,812 per ton, approximately $265 higher than the same period last year.
The country's rubber is primarily exported to Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, and China.
Although exports declined in the first seven months, domestic latex consumption surged 76% to 64,978 tons, generating $118.8 million in domestic sales revenue.
Currently, Cambodia has a total of 425,443 hectares of rubber plantations, of which 330,259 hectares, or 77.6%, are harvestable.
