According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in June 2025, China's steel bar production was 16.583 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.1%; The cumulative production from January to June was 98.31 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.0%.
In June, the production of medium thick and wide steel strips in China was 19.315 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%; The cumulative production from January to June was 114.01 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%.
In June, China's wire rod (coil) production was 11.688 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 6.7%; The cumulative production from January to June was 67.89 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.6%.
In June, China's original iron ore production was 88.965 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.4%; The cumulative production from January to June was 508.598 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.1%.
