SunSirs: Cambodia's Latex Export Volume in the First Half of 2025 Decreased 20% Year-on-year
July 17 2025 14:02:37     SunSirs (Selena)According to the latest report from the Cambodian Rubber Authority, the export volume of Cambodian latex in the first half of 2025 decreased by 20% year-on-year to 112,595 tons, compared to 140,653 tons in the same period last year.
Data shows that the country earned $208 million in revenue from latex exports in the first half of the year, a decrease of 2.3% from $213 million in the same period last year; The average cost of exports is 1,853 US dollars per ton, which is about 335 US dollars higher than the same period last year.
The country mainly exports rubber to Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, and China.
In addition, although the country's export volume decreased in the first half of the year, domestic latex consumption increased significantly by 92%, reaching 53,361 tons, and domestic sales revenue reached 93.5 million US dollars.
As of now, Cambodia has a total of 425,443 hectares of rubber plantations, of which 330,259 hectares or 77.6% can be harvested.
