SunSirs: EU Rapeseed Production is Estimated at 18.6 Million Tons in 2025/26

Strategic Grains released its monthly report last Friday, significantly lowering its forecast for EU rapeseed production in 2025/26 due to drought in some areas. However, the lowered production is still an increase from last year's rain-affected production. EU rapeseed production is forecast to be 18.6 million tons in 2025/26, down from the 19 million tons forecast at the end of April, but still nearly 11% higher than in 2024/25.
Strategic Grains said it lowered its forecast for new season rapeseed production this month due to widespread drought in some countries.
