According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs:, bromine prices were temporarily stable this week. The average market price from the beginning of the week to the weekend was 23,100 RMB/ton, up 11.06% from the same period last year.
2. Market analysis
This week, bromine prices were temporarily stable, and the spot ex-factory price of bromine in Shandong was 23,000-25,000 RMB/ton. Domestic bromine enterprises were operating stably. Most manufacturers mainly stabilized prices, and downstream enterprises mainly focused on rigid demand.
In terms of raw materials: domestic sulfur prices were running smoothly, with an average market price of 2,451 RMB/ton at the beginning of the week and an average market price of 2,484.33 RMB/ton at the weekend, a price increase of 1.36%, up 120.5% from the same period last year. Downstream demand is acceptable.
It is predicted that bromine prices will be temporarily stable in the near future, upstream sulfur prices will rise recently, bromine prices will remain stable this week, and downstream purchases will be mostly on demand. Bromine enterprises are operating stably. It is generally expected that bromine may continue to consolidate in the future, depending on the downstream market demand.
