SunSirs: China's Steel Exports in April Increased by 0.1% Month-on-month, and Imports Increased by 4.2% Month-on-month

According to the General Administration of Customs, China exported 10.462 million tons of steel in April 2025, an increase of 6,000 tons from the previous month and a month-on-month increase of 0.1%; the cumulative steel exports from January to April were 37.891 million tons, an increase of 8.2% year-on-year. China imported 522,000 tons of steel in April, an increase of 21,000 tons from the previous month and a month-on-month increase of 4.2%; the cumulative steel imports from January to April were 2.072 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 13.9%.
