On the first working day after the holiday, the domestic phenol market generally declined. According to data monitored by SunSirs, in the East China region, for example, the price of phenol was quoted at 6,450 RMB/ton, a decrease of 100 RMB/ton from before the holiday.
Analysis review
The raw material benzene has dropped significantly, with a bearish impact on the cost side. Terminal factories were mainly observing, with limited participation and a weak market trading atmosphere.
The domestic production rate of phenol ketone was 75%, and Sinopec Mitsui phenol ketone plant has increased its load operation after the holiday, while others are relatively stable.
