On March 5th, the commodity price index BPI was 903 points, a decrease of 2 points from yesterday, a decrease of 32.76% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 36.82% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on March 5, 2025, there were a total of 29 commodities on the rise and fall list of bulk commodity prices, concentrated in the chemical industry sector (14 in total) and the non-ferrous industry sector (6 in total). Commodities with an increase of more than 5% were mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector; The top three products with the highest increase are R134a (13.10%), sulfur (2.57%), and R22 (1.90%). A total of 56 products experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (25 in total) and energy (7 in total). The top 3 products with the highest decline were rapeseed meal (-4.02%), butadiene (-2.29%), and magnesium (-2.11%).
