SunSirs: Argentina's Soybean Meal Exports to the European Union Increased by 200% Year-on-year

As of February 2, 2025, the EU imported 5.54 million tons of soybean meal from Brazil in the 2024/25 fiscal year (July to June), accounting for 48.5% of the EU's total imports, lower than the 5.84 million tons and 65.5% of the same period last year, respectively.
The second largest supplier is Argentina, with the European Union importing 4.53 million tons of soybean meal from Argentina, an increase of 201% from 1.51 million tons in the same period last year; The share increased from 16.90% in the same period last year to 39.6%.
The third largest supplier is Ukraine, with a quantity of 410,000 tons, higher than the same period last year's 20,000 tons; The share increased from 3.3% to 3.6%.
