SunSirs: Copper Closed Higher on January 8th

On January 8th, the price of copper futures in Shanghai rose slightly. The main contract 2502 closed at 74,480 RMB/ton, up 60 yuan or 0.08%. At 3:00 pm on the same day, the March copper price in London was 8,998.50 US dollars per ton, and the internal to external ratio between Shanghai and London was 8.28, which was the same as the previous trading day. The Shanghai London market experienced similar fluctuations.
All contracts were traded in 97,220 lots, with a decrease of 5,392 lots in holdings to 406,332 lots. The main contract sold 44,907 lots, and the position decreased by 4,930 lots to 140,801 lots.
