SunSirs: Copper Closed Higher on January 7th

On January 7th, the price of copper futures in Shanghai rose. The main contract 2502 closed at 74,470 RMB/ton, up 810 RMB/ton, or 1.10%. At 3:00 pm on the same day, the March copper price in London was 8,993.50 US dollars per ton, and the ratio of Shanghai to London was 8.28, lower than the previous trading day's 8.30. The increase in Shanghai copper futures was smaller than that in the London market.
All contracts were traded 212,480 lots, and the position increased by 4,166 lots to 411,724 lots. The main contract sold 86,609 lots, and the position decreased by 5,872 lots to 145,731 lots.
