November 12 2024 09:18:04     SunSirs (John)
Price trend
According to data from SunSirs, the price of seamless tubes had slightly decreased this week. As of the weekend, the price of 20 #, 108 * 4.5 seamless tubes was quoted at 4,305 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.52% from the beginning of the week and a year-on-year decrease of 5.95%.
Analysis review
The price of upstream tube billets fluctuated, and the market price of 20 # hot-rolled tube billets was temporarily quoted at 3496-3634 RMB/ton.
Environmental news in Hebei and other regions once again had an impact on industries such as transportation and processing. There was a certain degree of decline in the production and demand of seamless tubes in the north, while some markets in the south were still in the rush period, and the short-term supply-demand contradiction was not significant. The overall market shipment in November was still lower than the same period last year, and the shipment situation of traders was average. In the past two days, the construction of the tube factory had basically returned to normal, and there may be an increase in resource supply in the later stage, but it is difficult to have a significant improvement in terminal demand.
Market outlook
It is expected that seamless tubes will mainly experience oscillation in the short term.
