SunSirs: Brazil's Corn Exports in October decreased 24% year-on-year
November 08 2024 14:39:11     SunSirs (Selena)Secex statistics show that Brazil's corn exports in October were 6.41 million tons, a decrease of 24% from 8.448 million tons in October last year. From October 1st to 31st, Brazil exported an average of 291,191 tons of corn per day, a decrease of 24% compared to October last year.
The export value of corn reached 1.28 billion US dollars in October, compared to 1.9 billion US dollars in October last year.
The average export price of corn in October was $199.6 per ton, a decrease of 11.4% compared to the same period last year.
As a reference, Brazil's corn exports in September 2024 were 6.42 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 26.6%.
In August, Brazil's corn export volume was 6.06 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 35.2%.
In July, Brazil's corn export volume was 3.55 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16.1%.
