On November 5th, the commodity price index BPI was 893 points, a decrease of 1 point from yesterday, a decrease of 33.51% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 35.30% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on November 5, 2024, there were a total of 43 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (13 in total) and the steel sector (9 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were butanone (3.30%), n-propanol (2.92%), and WTI crude oil (2.85%). There were a total of 38 products with a month on month decline, concentrated in the chemical industry (17 in total) and agricultural and sideline industries (8 in total). The top 3 products with a decline were butadiene (-4.26%), caprolactam (-3.99%), and rapeseed oil (-2.10%).
