In September 2024, China's methanol import volume was 1.2488 million tons, an increase of 2.24% compared to the previous month. The average import price was $289.62 per ton, a decrease of 0.97% compared to the previous month. Saudi Arabia has the largest import volume of 334100 tons, with an average import price of 289.48 US dollars per ton. The cumulative import volume of methanol in China from January to September 2024 was 10.063 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.77%.
In September 2024, China's methanol export volume was 25,800 tons, an increase of 15.18% compared to the previous month. The average export price was 310.17 US dollars per ton, a decrease of 6.48% compared to the previous month. The cumulative export volume of methanol in China from January to September 2024 was 86,700 tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.17%.
