SunSirs: China Exported 10.153 Million Tons of Steel in September 2024
October 15 2024 10:45:36     According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, China exported 10.153 million tons of steel in September 2024, an increase of 658,000 tons from the previous month, a month-on-month increase of 6.9%; the cumulative export of steel from January to September was 80.711 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 21.2%. In September, China imported 554,000 tons of steel, an increase of 45,000 tons from the previous month, a month-on-month increase of 8.8%; the cumulative import of steel from January to September was 5.185 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.2%. In September, China imported 104.132 million tons of iron ore and its concentrates, an increase of 2.742 million tons from the previous month, a month-on-month increase of 2.7%; the cumulative import of iron ore and its concentrates from January to September was 918.866 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%.
