On October 10th, the commodity price index BPI was 901 points, up 1 point from yesterday, down 32.91% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and up 36.52% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on October 10, 2024, there were a total of 38 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (13 in total) and the rubber and plastic sector (9 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were HDPE (2.89%), aniline (2.18%), and potassium chloride (import) (1.99%). There were a total of 46 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly concentrated in steel (11 in total) and chemical industry (11 in total). The top three products with a decline were polyacrylamide (-2.90%), methanol (-2.87%), and steel billets (-2.42%).
