SunSirs: Inspection Report on US Corn Exports for the Week Ended October 3
October 08 2024 16:16:37     SunSirs (Selena)The US Department of Agriculture's Export Inspection Weekly report shows that the inspection volume of US corn exports decreased by 19% last week compared to a week ago, but increased by 16% year-on-year. As of the week ending October 3, 2024, the inspection volume of US corn exports was 933,274 tons, compared to 1,149,524 tons last week and 804,418 tons in the same period last year.
The United States shipped 367 tons of corn to China this week, but there were no shipments of corn to China last week.
So far in 2024/2025, the inspection volume of US corn exports has been 4,273,529 tons, a year-on-year increase of 22.2%, an increase of 23.7% last week, and an increase of 5.9% two weeks ago.
The inspection volume of US corn exports in 2024/2025 reached 7.3% of the US Department of Agriculture's forecast target, compared to 5.7% last week.
