In August 2024, my country's methanol imports were 1.2214 million tons, down 5.33% from the previous month, and the average import price was US$292.45/ton, down 2.31% from the previous month. Among them, Oman had the largest import volume of 361,400 tons, and the average import price was US$292.22/ton. From January to August 2024, China's cumulative methanol imports were 8.8142 million tons, down 4.54% year-on-year.
In August 2024, my country's methanol exports were 22,400 tons, up 41.77% from the previous month, and the average export price was US$331.65/ton, up 6.48% from the previous month. From January to August 2024, China's cumulative methanol exports were 60,900 tons, down 15.65% year-on-year.
