SunSirs: The Expected Canadian Cereal Corn Production in 2024 is 15.2 Million Tons

The National Bureau of Statistics has released a production report, estimating that Canada's wheat, oat, and soybean production in 2024 is expected to be higher than the previous year based on recent production models using satellite imagery and agricultural climate data, but rapeseed, barley, and corn production will decrease. The estimated corn production for grain production in 2024 is 15.2 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.6%. The yield will increase by 3.7% to reach 167.8 catties per acre, while the harvest area is expected to decrease by 5.2% to 3.6 million acres.
