SunSirs: Nonferrous Metal Prices Declined in Late July 2024

The latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on August 4th showed that the prices of non-ferrous metals had all fallen in late July 2024 compared to mid July. The specific price changes were as follows:
The price of electrolytic copper was 74,390.6 RMB/ton, a decrease of 4,308.7 RMB/ton or 5.5% compared to the previous period. The price of aluminum ingots was 19,140.0 RMB/ton, a decrease of 677.1 RMB/ton or 3.4% compared to the previous period. The price of lead ingots was 19,406.3 RMB/ton, a decrease of 165.1 RMB/ton or 0.8% compared to the previous period. The price of zinc ingots was 22,886.3 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1105.1 RMB/ton or 4.6% compared to the previous period.
