SunSirs: National Bureau of Statistics: Ferrous Metal Prices Nationwide Lowered in Late July

The data released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China on August 5th shows that the prices of ferrous metals will all decrease in late July 2024. The specific price changes are as follows:
The price of rebar (Φ 20mm, HRB400E) is 3292.1 RMB/ton, a decrease of 173.4 RMB/ton or 5.0% compared to the previous period (late May, the same below).
The price of wire (Φ 8-10mm, HPB300) is 3503.3 RMB/ton, a decrease of 158.3 RMB/ton or 4.3% compared to the previous period.
The price of ordinary medium plate (20mm, Q235) is 3554.9 RMB/ton, a decrease of 123.7 RMB/ton or 3.4% compared to the previous period.
The price of hot-rolled ordinary coil (4.75-11.5mm, Q235) is 3541.3 RMB/ton, a decrease of 135.3 RMB/ton or 3.7% compared to the previous period.
The price of seamless steel pipe (219 * 6, 20 #) is 4390.8 RMB/ton, a decrease of 39.2%.
