SunSirs: Thailand's Sugar Production during the 2024/2025 Crushing Season is Expected to Rebound to 9-10 Million Tons

The third largest sugar producer in Thailand has announced that the drought in Thailand's new crushing season (2024/2025) will be alleviated. It is expected that the annual sugarcane production in Thailand during the 2024/2025 crushing season will reach 90 million to 100 million tons, and sugar production will rise to 9 million to 10 million tons. The international sugar price in 2024 will reach $22-23 per pound, only slightly lower than the price range of 25-26 cents per pound in the first half of this year.
