On July 10th, some prices of dysprosium terbium based rare earths in China declined, and recent on exchange trading had been average. The price of terbium oxide was 5.475 million RMB/ton, while the price of metallic terbium decreased by 50,000 RMB/ton to 6.65 million RMB/ton. The price of dysprosium oxide decreased by 10,000 RMB/ton to 1.77 million RMB/ton, the price of metallic dysprosium decreased by 85,000 RMB/ton to 2.36 million RMB/ton, and the price of dysprosium ferroalloy decreased by 20,000 RMB/ton to 1.75 million RMB/ton.
Analysis review
The recent market situation for terminal new energy vehicles was still good, and the transaction situation of downstream permanent magnet material manufacturers of rare earths was normal. Recently, downstream procurement was mainly based on demand, with average new orders. The prices of dysprosium series and terbium series in the heavy rare earth market had declined.
