On July 9th, the listed price of phenol in Sinopec East China remained stable at 8,200 RMB/ton, while the listed price of phenol in Sinopec North China remained at 8,200-8,250 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
On the 8th, the focus of the phenol market in East China increased, mainly due to a slight shortage of supply. At the beginning of the week, the phenol inventory at Jiangyin Port was low, and the market spot supply was slightly tight. Traders quoted an increase in prices, but the end users were still following up with demand buying. The delivery was low, but there was not much room for suppliers to make concessions. Looking at the market today, the East China region is operating steadily, while the North China and Shandong regions are offering stable prices, while the South China region is relatively strong.
