On April 11th, the commodity price index (BPI) was 939 points, an increase of 2 points from yesterday, a decrease of 30.08% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and an increase of 42.27% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 present)
According to the price monitoring of Business Society, on April 11, 2024, there were a total of 64 commodities with a month on month increase in the list of commodity prices, concentrated in the chemical industry sector (21 in total) and the non-ferrous metal sector (11 in total). The top three commodities with an increase were sulfur (2.65%), tetrachloroethylene (2.62%), and medium thick plate (2.20%). There are a total of 35 commodities with a month on month decline, concentrated in the chemical industry (14 in total) and steel (5 in total), and commodities with a decline of more than 5% are mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector; The top three products with a decline were polysilicon (-5.75%), soybean meal (-1.73%), and dichloroethane (-1.21%).
